Dates of coordination meetings with Czech MPs for 2020 and 2021

• Agreed on the current model that the meetings are proposed for the Tuesday of each Green week from 14:00 to 16:00. Normally, they take place in the Chamber of Deputies in Prague, or online.
• Following dates for the meetings with Czech MPs are 22.9. and 3.11.

Shared storage for EP team and EZO - update by Mikulas

• There has been little progress due to summer holiday.
• We need to get an approval from Pirate Party that they agree to share data with us.
• As mentioned by Mikulas, most likely, the decision must be taken by the National Council of the Pirate Party.

Discussion about potential participation of assistants in MEP meetings to take note of admin tasks and distribute them among themselves

• Agreed that Admin Assistants will participate on the MEPs meetings by taking notes and publishing them. In addition, they will also distribute tasks among individuals.
• The participation of Admin Assistants will be based on weekly rotation.

Traineeship of Pirate analyst Martin Archalous in Brussels, 30.11 – 11.12

• Traineeship approved as well as date (30.11. - 11.12.)
• Research topic: artificial intelligence.
• Agreed that Admin support (EP application, badge, budget, etc.) will be responsibility of Admin Assistant of Marcel (Misa); agenda and meetings will be responsibility of Zuzka and Political Advisors.

Delegation PR positions

• Discussion about two Delegation PR positions (CZ and DE).
• Start date for CZ PR should be as soon as possible, for DE PR the start date will be middle of November.
• Discussion on job content, drafting and finalising the JD for the PR Expert Positions.
• Agreed on next steps:
For CZ PR, the next step is to connect with HR of Pirate Party in order to post the job advertisement on relevant job portals.
For DE PR, the next step is to translate the JD from English to German, then post the job offer on relevant job portals.



Policy/coordination

Digital conditionalities in the MFF and Recovery Plan legislation (update by Mikulas re his files as shadow and the Pirate AMs to RRF, request from ITRE advisor)

• Will be checked by Mikulas and his team.
• Talks about budget between EP, Commission and Council starts on 27.8.2020.
• EP focuses on rule of law regulation to protect the EU budget – Greens co-signed.
• We will know more next Monday (31.8.2020)

Commission’s public opinion on Tereg

• Patrick would like to release the results next week, sharing the results with national media (Czechia, France, Sweden, Germany, etc.).
• There is a need for coordination to make sure that the results will be published at the same date.
• In line with it, Mikulas mentioned a FB initiative for translation from EN to other European languages – agreed to connect Boris with Mikulas to kick off the process.

 Protect migrant workers from labour exploitation by delinking residence permits from single employers and their particular job and increasing the length of stay for migrant workers, to protect especially those in seasonal/temporary occupations.
 Allow migrant workers residing in the EU for >3 years to move within the Union, and allow for a longer period of absence which would enable migrant workers to travel back to their home countries.
 allowing for applications for a residence permit from within the EU for all migrants, irrespective of their residence status or lack of residence status to ensure equal rights and non-discrimination, including individuals whose applications to seek asylum have been rejected and undocumented migrants;
 strengthening family reunification rights for all migrant workers
