Hi everyone,

Based on the feedback we received from the GA preference poll we sent out, the PPI General Assembly will take place on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021!

We ask that if this date is absolutely undoable for any of our members, please let us know by this Saturday, May 22nd. Otherwise, we stick with July 3rd.

The GA will take place on Mumble, just like last time: mumble.ppi.rocks, port 64738. Scroll down and click on the room “PPI Board,” and then another room called “Online GA.” This will be our meeting spot.

There is already a Discourse forum set up for you to submit and discuss your motions, statute amendments, and member applications:

Please register your delegates as soon as possible by posting on Discourse or sending us an email (board@pp-international.net). You can have up to 6 delegates but of course there is no limit on attendance.

Dear Pirates,

As we move further into 2021 we believe it is time for our mid-year General Assembly. We would like the opportunity to meet with our members and check in with one another about what we have been up to since the end of last year.

We are excited to invite you to our early-Summer General Assembly, which will take place on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021!

The event will begin at 09:00 UTC (11:00 CEST) and will be held entirely online using Mumble, just like last time: mumble.ppi.rocks, port 64738. Scroll down and click on the room “PPI Board,” and then another room called “Online GA.” This will be our meeting spot.

Because this GA is happening midway through the year, it will only be one day long and will not include elections of PPI officers. We will have board and financial reports, acceptance of new members, statute amendments and motions.

Please submit your membership applications, statute amendments and motions through our Discourse forum: https://ga.pp-international.net/c/onlin ... ga-2021/24. The deadline to submit statute amendments and membership applications is one month before the GA, Saturday June 5th. There is no deadline to submit motions.

We encourage you to use the forum not only to submit things but also to engage in discussions with each other about the various submissions.

Each PPI member may have up to 6 registered delegates attend the GA. Please register your delegates as soon as possible by posting on Discourse or emailing the PPI board: board@pp-international.net. There is no limit on attendance.

Jako delegáty jsem nominovala po domluvě sebe a Lukáše.

Tak jsem to úplně nezvládl, díky všem co se zúčastnili.

Máme nějaké výsledky?

1. Během zasedání většina států doplnila tier, do kterého patří
2. CoA slíbil, že teď už se opravdu sejde a vyřadí ty státy, které jsou delší dobu neaktivní
3. Přijali jsme PP-EU jako Observer Member
4. Přijali jsme Turecko jako Ordinary Member
5. máme pár výzev pro členy, příznivce a zájemce všeobecně:
6. resuscitovány byly Pirate Times - do příštího celostátního newsletteru chci dát call to action pro příspěvky
7. hledají se nárdoní koordinátoři pro iniciativu "Freedom to share"
8. hledají se lidi na stánek na IGF v Katowicích

Jo a ještě proběhla debata o zavedení DAO, ale tomu skoro nikdo nerozuměl, takže jsme to tak nějak konsenzuálně nechali na Keithovi a uvidíme, co z toho bude
