Strategic discussion on the implication of delegation staff in the upcoming months (in camera - Jules)

Committee reforms WG 2024 (Jules – Marcel): MEPs criticised the newest proposal for committee reform claiming that establishment of single digital committee would make it easier for outside influences.

EU reform AFCO report and eID:
• MEPs agreed that he negotiated text is still problematic, pointing out, the need to proper explain of vote. The MEPs decided that Patrick & team will prepare briefing

Delegation trainee (Tom P. & Niki) – the MEPs agreed that Tomas P. will inquire from Mab on the state of play

BL contribution to PLM side event – The MEPs agreed to have an internal discussion on the finances to be allocated first.

Group Bureau – the Group will elect new vice presidents, candidates will be announced and voted next week.

6th of December debate on group strategy post-elections – MEPs discussed the strategy of the Group in regards to the future majority in the next parliament. Marketa agreed to participate in the strategic debate of the Group.

Discussion on the plenary vote for the EHDS – there will be a discussion and possibly a vote on Wednesday’s group meeting. MEPs have agreed on participating to the group meeting or giving a proxy vote to somebody else.
