o The delegation of the European Pirates in the European Parliament appoints Mikulas Peksa as the delegate with voting rights
o Marketa Gregorova and David Frantisek Wagner from the delegation will be present as well
o the delegation decided together on their picks for the chairperson, vice-chairperson, treasurer and board members.

Organisational/Admin

• Cooperation with EurActiv
- Discussion over an offer from EuroActiv (package for year including articles, podcasts, interviews, etc.).
- Discussion over transparency issue – with each article there will be clearly stated that the article was issued by Pirates (already agreed on). Tomas asks them when they are going to implement the agreement on transparency.
- Agreed on have a call with EuroActiv ---→ Tomas will set up the call.
• PR work division
- Discussion on what Tomas P. shall do for each MEP? (focus on Czech MEPs).
- How to divide the work of PR Experts for the Delegation?
- Ask Tom and Niki to draft a paper (work plan) describing how to divide the work between the Delegation and individual MEPs --→Misa will ask Tom and Niki. Deadline: beginning of next year
• Merch Decision: 10 mins
- Agreed that each MEP will go through again the number of items.
• APAs holidays follow-up: ’APAs have contract under European institutions regulations, consequently there is no extra days. They have to introduce annual leaves for these specific days" This means that there is no official way to add extra days to APAs. Also they informed me that it is expected (as every year) that the President will grant extra day of holiday on 23rd December.

Policy/PR/Coordinatio
• European Defence Fund: follow-up to the internal policy discussion
- Zuzka prepared the table to make a comparison.

• Presentation at the General Assembly: ‘How the European legislation is created and how the Pirates contribute to it’. The aim is to show how the EP is co-shaping the EU rules, using specific examples of the TCO and DSA.
- Aim to show the role of EP in legislative process (what is the timeline, what are the procedures, etc).
- Marcel will give examples related to the work which has been done by Pirate MEPs in EP.
- Proposals: TCO, DSA (good examples to show how the legislative process works).

• Group post-enlargement:
- Consider forming some kind of structure of the non-EGP and non EFA members in the Group. It would be a group of over 10 members and should have some common interest to discuss.
- First item on the MEPs meeting in January.
- Mikulas suggests to start the discussion first with the “5 stars group”.


• Short update on some of the European Council Conclusions
◦ Climate change:
▪ Target at least 55%
▪ will be delivered collectively by the EU
▪ MS can decide on their energy mix and choose the most appropriate technologies to achieve collectively the target, including transitional technologies such as gas.
◦ Health: Highlights the need to pursue work to increase resilience in the area of health, including by taking forward the proposals for a Health Union and making full use of the potential of health data in Europe.
◦ Security: invites the co-legislators to examine the proposal on the strengthening of Europol’s mandate with a view to its rapid adoption.

• Delegation GEA request: Working Laptop for Nikolaus (1300 EUR)
Niki invited to MEPs meeting in order to explain his request for buying a working laptop. The laptop will be mainly use for creations of infographics, pictures and videos (there should not be any problems in terms of formatting as the request is for an Apple product. Niki will provide MEPS with more info on it).
MEPs agreed that the new laptop will be paid from the Delegation GEA.
• Purchase of a new work phone for Tomas
MEPs agreed that the work phone will by paid from the Delegation GEA.
As Marcel mentioned during the discussion, MEPs agreed that all devices that cost 1000 EUR or more have to be registered in the inventory.
Action item: Admin assistant will find out whether the inventory has already been created. If no, they will create it and will add all purchases which costed 1000 EUR or more.
• GEA audit
There is obligation for Greens/EFA members to conduct a yearly audit for GEA.
As Marcel pointed out there haven’t been many members who have done it as they are not aware of it.
Patrick’ experience: Julia asked the paying agent to conduct the audit. PA looked at the GEA and published the audit certificate.
Action item: Admin assistant will find out what is the group policy for audit (e.g. internal or external audit, do we ask paying agent, etc?).

Discussed meeting with interested Group MEPs as a follow-up to the Bureau in December which will take place in the end of January.
On Thursday 21/1 there will be vote on Quotas in the FEMM INI on the EU Strategy for Gender Equality – draft email discussed (MEPs will vote against the quotas as this was part of their campaign for the EP).
Action item: Email will be sent by Marcel.
Action item: Mikulas and Zuzka will contact Resortní team lidská práva to request information on numbers of women, representation of women in this elections, etc.
