Julia Reda (mladá německá Pirátka, dlouhodobě aktivní v mezinárodních vodách a německé pirátské mládežnické organizaci) informuje:

thank you all for the great and successful Brussels trip! I hope you're
all as happy with the results as I am.
In this e-mail, I want to outline the next steps and what we have to
prepare before the founding conference, which is less than 6 weeks away!
Lutoma and I have installed a wiki on the German Young Pirates' servers
that is in english (yay!) and can be used for all YPE material. As soon
as YPE has its own servers, it will be moved there. Please have a look
and create an account:
http://young-pirates.eu
There, we have created a page for the Brussels Statutes conference with
the minutes and the statutes draft:
https://young-pirates.eu/wiki/Statutes_Conference
Plus, a page for the upcoming founding conference:
http://young-pirates.eu/wiki/Founding_Conference
It would be great if Mab, who is responsible for organising the
conference, could add information on time and location etc.
I have made a list there with things we need to decide on at the
conference in a hopefully sensible order. This can serve as a draft for
the conference agenda.
Then there is a section for delegates:
http://young-pirates.eu/wiki/Founding_C ... #Delegates
Since this is an official mandate to join YPE, there _has_ to be a
decision by the board or the assembly of your organisation that appoints
the delegates. This board decision must be put online and linked to on
the wiki page so everybody knows that you are authorised to join YPE on
behalf of your organisation. I have already added the board decision by
the German Young Pirates that has appointed Lukas and me as delegates
for all YPE-related events.
There is also a section where people can volunteer for chairing the
founding conference and writing the minutes. If at all possible, this
should not be delegates, I think. Perhaps somebody who is attending the
Ung Pirat summer camp but is not a delegate can take on this job.
Also, every organisation may nominate two candidates for the board of
YPE. This can be done either by board decision of your organisation, by
an assembly decision or by the delegates. It would be great to know well
before the conference who you are going to nominate, so please talk to
your organisation and potential candidates as soon as possible and add
your nominees to this wiki page:
https://young-pirates.eu/wiki/Board
It would be bad to end up with too few viable candidates for the
essential positions of chairperson, treasurer and secretary general.
However, you don't have to specify which positions your nominees want to
run for - that is up to them. It is in their own best interest to add
personal information and contact details to the wiki page, so we know
who to vote for and have a chance to ask them questions.
All member organisations can present motions at the founding conference
that we will then vote on. So if you feel like, for example, writing an
internal regulation for transparency at the organisation, this is your
chance! I suggest that all motions be either directly entered into the
wiki (including which organisation is proposing them) or sent to
contact@young-pirates.eu - Lukas and I have access to that e-mail
account and will add any motions to the wiki.
Last but not least, YPE needs a logo! If any of you have ideas for that,
just make a proposal and add it to this wiki page:
http://young-pirates.eu/wiki/Logo
I suggest we simply collect proposals and then vote on them at the
founding conference.
That is all I can think of for now. Please let us know if you have
anything to add and feel free to fill the wiki with useful information!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all in Stockholm![/quote]
